Locally, Moore has cooked at The Siena Hotel’s Il Palio, Tyler’s Taproom, and was the first chef at The Federal in Durham.
Moore’s menu highlights seasonal ingredients from local producers and draws inspiration from French, Italian, Asian and Mexican cuisine. Venable is known for our panko-crusted fried chicken piled high with arugula and shaved parmesan, our truffled artichoke dip with grilled flatbread, the vegetarian bahn mi, and our Robuchon inspired herb-whipped potatoes. Venable also has daily specials based on what is available at the farmers’ market and serves brunch on Saturday and Sunday. Guests can enjoy our full menu in our dining room, on the patio or at the bar.
